MEET THE OWNERS

Hi, I’m Janelle Madden—a wife of 26 years, mom of three amazing kids (or should I say young adults!), and the proud owner of Alpha-Lit New Orleans. Since 2023, I’ve been helping the Big Easy—and surrounding parishes—"get lit “ with our marquee letters.

My path here has been anything but boring. I’ve been a preschool teacher (tiny humans, big energy), an accountant (numbers don’t argue… usually), and a stay-at-home mom (hands down the toughest—and best—job ever). Turns out, all of that was the perfect training for running a business and bringing big event visions to life.

Now, I spend my days helping clients celebrate in style—one marquee at a time. From weddings to parties to life’s biggest milestones, I love turning moments into something truly unforgettable.

When I’m not hauling letters across Southeast Louisiana, you’ll find me reading, shopping, cheering on the Saints, Pelicans, and LSU Tigers—or attempting to enjoy a quiet moment with my family… emphasis on attempting.

Helping our clients’ celebrations shine has been the best part of this journey—and we’re just getting started "lighting up" memories, one event at a time.
